Project Engineer (Water Infrastructure)

About the role

ConsultANZ is seeking a Project Engineer to join its water infrastructure team in Auckland. You will be responsible for coordinating day‑to‑day activities on‑site and ensuring that project milestones are met on time and within budget.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily project activities on site.
• Assist in planning, programming, and resource allocation.
• Monitor project progress and ensure adherence to timelines.
• Manage subcontractors and ensure quality workmanship.
• Oversee cost tracking, variations, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, and internal teams.

Required profile

• Minimum 4+ years’ experience as a Civil Engineer with a focus on water infrastructure projects.
• Proven experience in water, wastewater, or stormwater projects.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• MS Project (or equivalent project planning tool).
