Project Engineer

About the role

Brian Perry Civil is seeking a Project Engineer with proven experience in structural and three‑waters projects. You will work closely with the Project Manager, Site Engineers, foremen and subcontractors to keep projects moving safely, efficiently and on schedule. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys owning outcomes, thinking ahead and leading teams through complex construction stages.

Key responsibilities

• Lead planning and delivery of structural and three‑waters projects.
• Develop and manage short‑ to medium‑term programmes and work packs.
• Manage subcontractors, resources and sequencing to meet programme targets.
• Monitor costs, forecast to complete and manage task budgets.
• Provide technical guidance and support to Site Engineers and supervisors.
• Maintain strong standards across safety, quality and environmental controls.

Required profile

• A tertiary qualification in civil engineering or a related discipline.
• Experience as a Project Engineer on structural, bridge and three‑waters projects.
• Strong knowledge of reinforced concrete, temporary works and construction sequencing.
• Confidence leading engineers, foremen and subcontractor teams.
• Proven planning, cost control and risk‑management capability.
• Clear communication skills and a collaborative working style.
