Project Engineer

About the role

The Project Engineer will coordinate and manage daily site activities for a civil engineering company, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This role supports project managers with reporting, forecasting, and commercial management while liaising with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and manage daily site activities, monitoring safety, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare and manage project documentation such as ITPs, RFIs, NCRs, QA records, and construction methodologies.
• Assist with project planning, programming, procurement, and subcontractor management.
• Monitor project costs, productivity, and resource allocation.
• Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and site teams to ensure alignment.
• Support Project Managers with reporting, forecasting, and commercial management.
• Coordinate survey, design, and construction activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 6 years of experience as a Site Engineer or Project Engineer in civil construction.
• Experience in marine, port, bridge, structures, earthworks, ground improvement, or heavy civil infrastructure projects.
• Strong understanding of QA systems, ITPs, and construction documentation.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced project environment.
