Project Engineer

About the role

Fabrum is seeking a Project Engineer to lead the delivery of complex engineering projects from concept through to commissioning. You will work closely with project managers, multidisciplinary teams, external vendors and end‑users to ensure safe, efficient and high‑quality outcomes.

Key responsibilities

• Lead technical project delivery from concept through manufacture, assembly and commissioning.
• Develop and manage engineering deliverables such as scopes, bills of materials, specifications, technical documentation and schedules.
• Act as the primary technical interface between engineering teams, suppliers, clients and project stakeholders.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to align priorities, workloads and deliverables.
• Provide technical input on design, problem solving, system integration and engineering decisions.
• Identify project risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
• Support manufacturing and assembly teams by resolving technical issues and driving continuous improvement.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics or a related engineering discipline.
• 5+ years of experience in project engineering or a similar technical delivery role.
• Proven ability to coordinate engineering projects and manage technical deliverables across multiple stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of engineering principles, manufacturing processes and engineering workflows.
• Demonstrated problem‑solving skills and ability to make sound engineering decisions.
