Project Coordinator / Early‑Career Project Manager

About the role

Frequency is seeking a motivated Project Coordinator or early‑career Project Manager to join its Gisborne team. You will work closely with an experienced Senior Project Manager on a variety of infrastructure projects, gaining hands‑on experience in planning, coordination, stakeholder engagement and delivery.

Key responsibilities

• Support preparation and maintenance of project documentation, plans, reports, schedules and registers.
• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, capture actions and follow up on deliverables.
• Assist with project planning, procurement and delivery activities.
• Monitor project progress, identify and help manage risks and issues.
• Build positive relationships with clients, consultants, contractors and other stakeholders.
• Contribute to project reporting and communications.
• Support Senior Project Managers with day‑to‑day project delivery.

Required profile

• Approximately 3+ years of project coordination or project management experience.
• Experience in construction, infrastructure, property, engineering or a similar project‑based environment is desirable.
• Strong organisational, time‑management and stakeholder‑relationship skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication with high attention to detail.
• Proactive problem‑solving attitude and willingness to learn.
• Professional presentation and collaborative working style.
