Production Operator / Assistant Baker

About the role

Goodman Fielder is seeking several full-time Multiple Production Operators/Assistant Bakers for its Huntly site. No experience is needed, as full training is provided. The role sits within the Baking and Production team, preparing, baking and packaging bread products to the required standards, and reporting to the Team Leader.

Key responsibilities

• Operate all equipment according to site standards and report any equipment issues immediately to the Team Leader
• Maintain Food Safety, GMP, cleaning and hygiene standards, including corrective actions from audits and non-conformance reports
• Build strong relationships with internal customers (Supply Chain) by producing to plan accurately
• Complete all online quality checks and relevant production checklists
• Train other production staff and lead out initiatives in the production environment

Required profile

• Willingness to learn and develop
• Food industry experience desirable
• Strong literacy and numeracy skills
• Sound knowledge of work health and safety, with demonstrated experience in previous workplaces

Work conditions

• Shift patterns: Sunday to Wednesday night shift 12am to 12pm, Sunday to Tuesday 12am to 6am, and Wednesday 12am to 6am
• Total of 40 hours per week
