Production Manager

About the role

Rodin Cars is seeking a Production Manager to lead manufacturing operations as the company moves from prototype development to repeatable production. The role is based on‑site in Hurunui, Canterbury and includes relocation and visa support for the right candidate.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day manufacturing activities across assembly, additive manufacturing, composites, and engineering development.
• Manage the transition from prototype to volume production, ensuring processes are repeatable and efficient.
• Coordinate production planning and scheduling to meet quality and delivery targets.
• Utilise the company’s F1‑grade facilities to drive high‑performance manufacturing standards.
• Collaborate with engineering and development teams to integrate new technologies and continuous improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Proven experience in manufacturing or production management, preferably in high‑performance or automotive environments.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to guide multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated ability to scale prototype processes into full‑scale production.
• Willingness to relocate and work on‑site in New Zealand.
