Product Manager – Consumer Finance

About the role

As a Product Manager in ANZ's Consumer Finance Product Team, you will shape a world‑class consumer lending experience. You will lead initiatives that create valuable propositions, improve customer outcomes and drive portfolio performance across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and delivery of consumer lending propositions that enhance the customer experience and boost portfolio performance.
• Provide strategic and thought leadership for key initiatives within the Consumer Finance portfolio.
• Translate customer insights, business needs and market trends into clear product opportunities and roadmaps.
• Partner with pan‑bank stakeholders and external partners to deliver integrated, customer‑focused solutions.
• Champion innovation by identifying improvement opportunities and testing new ideas, technologies and ways of working.
• Drive cross‑functional collaboration to ensure alignment across design, technology, risk, operations and frontline teams.

Required profile

• Proven experience in product management or a related role, preferably within consumer finance or a similarly complex, customer‑focused environment.
• Strong strategic thinking with the ability to turn insights and data into clear product opportunities.
• Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, confident in working with senior leaders and external partners.
