Product Analyst (Data) – Banking Products

About the role

As a Product Analyst (Data) within ANZ's Product Analytics team, you will drive data‑focused decisions across banking products. You will deliver high‑quality reporting, support pricing models, and evaluate product performance, helping to optimise rates, fees, and package offerings for customers.

Key responsibilities

• Review scheduled reports and dashboards to ensure product performance data is accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Respond to stakeholder requests by building or refining reports and delivering insights that inform product and pricing decisions.
• Analyse data to identify trends, risks and opportunities for improving product performance and customer outcomes.
• Improve reporting processes and maintain data repositories to increase efficiency, quality and governance.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to support enhancements to products, pricing models, loyalty and package initiatives through data‑led recommendations.

Required profile

• Strong experience with data analysis, reporting tools and query languages.
• Solid Excel skills, including pivot tables and lookups, with high attention to detail.
• Analytical and curious mindset, able to quickly understand new systems, products and complex datasets.
• Effective communication skills, capable of translating data into clear, actionable insights for diverse stakeholders.
