Producer for New Internal Game Project

About the role

Prismatic Studios is launching its first original internal IP and seeks an experienced Producer to lead the project from pre‑production through launch. Based in Auckland, the role will coordinate design, engineering, art and audio teams, ensuring clear milestones, risk mitigation and a supportive environment that enables creative excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Own day‑to‑day production of the internal game, creating and maintaining schedules, milestones and delivery forecasts.
• Collaborate with studio leadership to align project execution with business goals and long‑term strategy.
• Work closely with discipline leads to coordinate priorities, unblock development and monitor scope, capacity and resource allocation.
• Identify production risks early and develop mitigation plans.
• Facilitate communication across the team to ensure visibility, alignment and healthy decision‑making.
• Help establish and evolve production processes that support creativity and sustainable development.
• Champion a positive, collaborative culture and contribute to defining Prismatic’s approach to original IP development.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a production role within a game studio, with at least one shipped commercial title.
• Strong understanding of multidisciplinary game development pipelines and workflows.
• Excellent organisational, communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Ability to balance scope, schedule, quality and team well‑being in fast‑moving environments.
• Passion for games and enthusiasm for helping teams deliver great player experiences.

• Competitive salary range of $100,000‑$110,000 NZD per year.
