Procurement Manager – Property & Facilities

About the role

Westpac is seeking a commercially‑driven Procurement Manager to lead property‑related sourcing across retail branches, corporate head‑offices, capital works and facilities management. The role will be based in Auckland, Wellington or Christchurch and operates under a hybrid working model.

Key responsibilities

• Lead medium to major‑complexity procurement deals within the Customer and Corporate Services portfolio.
• Manage the end‑to‑end procurement lifecycle: strategy, sourcing, contract negotiation and contract life‑cycle management.
• Develop and execute innovative category solutions for retail branch fit‑outs, corporate property, capital works and facilities services.
• Build and maintain strong supplier relationships to deliver sustainable commercial value.
• Collaborate with internal business partners to align procurement outcomes with customer needs.

Required profile

• Proven expertise in property‑related procurement categories, including retail branch fit‑outs, corporate/head‑office environments, capital works and facilities management.
• Demonstrated experience in strategic sourcing and delivering cost‑efficient outcomes.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder‑engagement skills.
• Self‑starter able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Required skills

• Knowledge of NZS3910 construction contracts and related procurement standards.
