Procurement Category Manager – Fixed Term

About the role

DB Breweries is seeking a Procurement Category Manager on a 12‑month fixed‑term contract to lead category strategy and sourcing for Business & Corporate Services and Operational Procurement. The role will focus on cost efficiency, supplier performance and stakeholder partnership.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute category and sourcing strategies.
• Manage supplier relationships to drive value, performance and innovation.
• Lead sourcing activities including tenders, negotiations and contract management.
• Partner with internal stakeholders to understand needs and support decision‑making.
• Monitor market trends and provide insights.
• Ensure governance and compliance across procurement activities.
• Deliver continuous improvement and cost‑saving initiatives.
• Support local and global procurement projects.

Required profile

• Degree in business, finance, marketing or a related field.
• 3–5+ years experience in procurement, category management or a similar role.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving and stakeholder management abilities.
• Proven negotiation and supplier management experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Required skills

• Experience with ERP systems.
