Processing Supervisor – Seed Processing

About the role

The Processing Supervisor will lead day‑to‑day operations at our seed processing and dressing facility in Tinwald. This hands‑on position combines technical oversight of seed dressing lines with coaching and training of the production team to ensure quality, safety and operational excellence.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee the Petkus Seed Cleaning Line, driving proactive maintenance and process improvements.
• Supervise staff operating the coating plant, ensuring recipes and procedures are followed.
• Monitor output, collect and review samples to meet strict quality standards.
• Troubleshoot equipment and processing issues, maintaining accurate production records.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safe work environment.

Required profile

• 3‑4 years of experience in seed dressing or a related seed processing environment.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and ability to operate and maintain machinery.
• Experience in training, coaching or mentoring production staff is desirable.
• Forklift certificate is essential.
• Excellent attention to detail.
