Processing Officer – Early Shift

About the role

Join NZ Post’s Masterton hub as a Processing Officer on the early shift. You’ll be part of a dynamic team that sorts, consolidates and dispatches parcels and freight, ensuring they are ready for couriers to deliver across New Zealand.

Key responsibilities

• Sort and consolidate parcels and freight for outbound delivery.
• Load and unload items using a forklift (training provided).
• Operate within the 4 am‑8 am shift, Tuesday to Saturday.
• Maintain a safe, clean and organised work environment.
• Assist teammates to meet daily dispatch targets.

Required profile

• Available to work 4 am‑8 am, Tuesday to Saturday.
• Hold a restricted driver’s licence and be willing to train on forklift operation.
• Physically capable of lifting up to 25 kg repeatedly.
• Strong attention to detail and good geographical knowledge.
• Commitment to safety and teamwork.
