Process Technician - Support

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Process Technician to join the recycling operations team at our Manurewa site. The role ensures that recyclable material moves smoothly through the granulator, mill and back into the extrusion line, supporting continuous production.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the movement of recyclable material from extruders to the crusher and back to production.
• Operate and monitor processing equipment such as granulators, mills and related machinery.
• Maintain a continuous flow of material to meet production targets.
• Monitor equipment performance and promptly report any issues.
• Follow all workplace health, safety, quality and environmental procedures.
• Keep work areas clean, organised and compliant with housekeeping standards.
• Collaborate with production teams to achieve daily output goals.
• Assist with general production and processing activities as required.

Required profile

• Experience in a manufacturing, production, processing or industrial environment.
• Ability to operate machinery and follow detailed work instructions.
• Strong focus on safety, quality and productivity.
• Reliable, proactive and capable of working independently.
• Commitment to promoting a positive safety culture.
• Team‑oriented with good communication across departments.
• Willingness to learn and adapt to changing priorities.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (advantageous).
