Private Wealth Assistant (Full‑time, Christchurch)

About the role

We are seeking two enthusiastic Private Wealth Assistants to join our central Christchurch office. In this full‑time, permanent role you will be the first point of contact for clients, supporting our top‑performing Investment Advisers and helping deliver a seamless client experience.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare correspondence, reports and updates for Investment Advisers.
• Maintain client files, documentation and data in line with CIP policies.
• Assist advisers with client meeting preparation and attend meetings when required.
• Manage diaries, travel arrangements and client account opening requirements.
• Conduct due‑diligence checks to ensure compliance with AML policies.
• Support the quarterly portfolio reporting process.
• Help organise client functions and greet visitors courteously.
• Answer telephone calls and provide general administrative support.

Required profile

• Professional, friendly and reliable with a strong service orientation.
• Ability to adapt quickly to new systems and processes.
• At least one year of relevant experience in a financial services environment (preferred but not essential).
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
