Principal Software Engineer - AI Trainer

About the role

We are looking for a senior software engineer to join the DataAnnotation team as an AI Trainer. In this remote position you will create and refine coding challenges that help train state‑of‑the‑art AI models, with a focus on Android development.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and document diverse coding problems used to train AI systems.
• Write clear, high‑quality code snippets and detailed explanations.
• Evaluate AI‑generated code for accuracy, performance and readability.
• Provide constructive feedback that influences the next generation of AI models.

Required profile

• Fluent English (native or bilingual level).
• Completed or in‑progress bachelor’s degree.
• Previous experience as a software developer, coder, or programmer.

Required skills

• Kotlin (preferred for Android development).
• JavaScript, TypeScript, Python, C, C#, C++, React, Go, Java, Swift.
