Principal Consultant – Data & AI (Adelaide)

About the role

We are looking for a Principal Consultant in Data & AI to join our fast‑growing consulting practice in Adelaide. The role is hybrid, allowing you to work both on‑site and remotely while delivering high‑impact data solutions for our clients.

Key responsibilities

• Lead client engagements end‑to‑end, from scoping and planning through contracting and execution.
• Design and implement complex data architecture, modelling and engineering solutions.
• Deliver AI‑enabled analytics, board reporting automation and real‑time industrial data platforms.
• Advise clients on technology choices, comparing vendors such as Snowflake, Databricks, AWS and Azure.
• Mentor junior team members and lead medium to large projects of 5+ months.
• Contribute to business development, proposal writing and practice growth in Adelaide.

Required profile

• 7‑10 years of experience across data architecture, data modelling and data engineering.
• Proven track record delivering client‑facing data and analytics projects.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to translate business problems into technical solutions.
• Tertiary qualification in an IT‑related field or equivalent experience.
