Practice Manager & Receptionist – Dental Clinic

About the role

Join a growing orthodontic practice that is relocating and expanding. As Practice Manager & Receptionist you will combine leadership of a passionate team with hands‑on front‑desk duties, ensuring a smooth, welcoming experience for patients and staff.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of a busy dental practice.
• Manage financial performance, budgeting, sales targets and P&L.
• Provide reception support: patient interactions, bookings and front‑of‑house coordination.
• Lead, motivate and develop the team, fostering a positive workplace culture.
• Maintain operational efficiency and meet performance targets.

Required profile

• Proven experience in team leadership or practice management.
• Previous reception or front‑of‑house experience, preferably in a customer‑focused environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.
• Valid NZ work rights and local residence.

Required skills

• Solid understanding of financial management, including budgets and P&L.
• Comfortable using technology and learning new systems.
