About the role
Ara Institute of Canterbury is seeking a Portfolio Manager for Nursing to lead its largest academic programme. The successful candidate will join the nursing leadership team, driving programme quality, overseeing clinical placements, and supporting the learning journey of students and staff. The role is full‑time and on‑site in Christchurch Central, Canterbury, New Zealand.
Key responsibilities
- Lead nursing education within Ara’s largest academic programme, providing strategic direction and day‑to‑day oversight of curriculum delivery.
- Shape clinical placement pathways and ensure the overall quality of the nursing programme through continuous evaluation and improvement.
- Support ākonga (students), kaimahi (staff) and contribute to building a sustainable future nursing workforce.
