Plant Operator – Gas Cylinder Production

About the role

Join the Compressed Operations team in Penrose and ensure our gas cylinders are safely filled, maintained, and ready for delivery to customers. You will work in a dynamic environment handling a range of industrial and medical gases.

Key responsibilities

• Fill and refurbish various BOC cylinders, including medical gases.
• Load, unload, move, and prepare cylinders for dispatch.
• Perform pressure checks, complete filling logs, and conduct basic analysis.
• Operate equipment according to written procedures and safety standards.
• Pick and pack orders and assist with stock management.

Required profile

• Willingness to obtain or already hold a forklift licence.
• Previous experience in production, manufacturing, or warehousing.
• Comfortable using basic computer systems and following procedures.
• Good written and verbal English communication skills.
• Physical ability to stand and work on your feet throughout the shift.

Required skills

• Forklift licence (or willingness to acquire one).
• Basic computer system proficiency.
