Plant Manager

About the role

Danone is seeking a Plant Manager to lead its Auckland manufacturing site through a period of transformation and growth. This senior leadership position will shape strategy, build capability and embed a high‑performance culture while upholding the highest standards of safety, quality and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall site performance, strategy development and transformation initiatives.
• Foster a safety‑first, quality‑led culture and ensure compliance with food safety and regulatory standards.
• Implement Danone manufacturing standards, drive productivity, cost optimisation and efficiency targets.
• Oversee operational planning, budgeting, capital investment and resource allocation.
• Develop, coach and expand a strong plant leadership pipeline.
• Promote digital ways of working and manufacturing excellence across the site.
• Collaborate with internal, regional and external stakeholders to achieve business objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive senior leadership experience in manufacturing, operations or supply‑chain environments.
• Proven track record of leading large‑scale operational or cultural transformation.
• Strong expertise in safety, quality, food manufacturing and continuous improvement.
• Experience managing complex budgets, productivity targets and capital projects.
• Ability to engage diverse stakeholders and mobilise teams toward shared goals.
• Relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, operations or supply‑chain.
