Physiotherapist - Vocational and Community Rehabilitation

About the role

APM is looking for a passionate, dedicated Physiotherapist to join its team in Blenheim, reporting to the Team Leader. The role covers Vocational Rehabilitation (SAW & BTW) and Community Rehab Services, supporting clients in homes, workplaces and communities.

Key responsibilities

• Vocational Rehabilitation: deliver workplace assessments, graduated return-to-work plans and task analysis, and know the vocational services pathways
• Community Rehab Services: provide rehabilitation and support to individuals in their community, working in a multi-disciplinary team to help clients reach their rehab goals, and know the community services pathways
• Use clinical expertise to support clients in homes, workplaces and communities, delivering care focused on excellence and outcomes

Required profile

• Relevant qualifications, professional registration and a valid practicing certificate
• At least 2 years' experience in vocational rehabilitation and community rehabilitation services
• High-level clinical reasoning and adaptability across a range of client needs
• Commitment to continuous learning and professional development
• Clear, professional written and verbal communication with clients, whanau and stakeholders
