Physiotherapist – Sports & Musculoskeletal Practice

About the role

Great Lake Physio’s Taupo branch is seeking a motivated Physiotherapist to join a busy musculoskeletal and sports practice. You will deliver acute assessments, design rehabilitation programmes, and support a range of ACC contracts, including concussion and pain management, while enjoying the scenic lakefront lifestyle.

Key responsibilities

• Assess acute injuries and provide treatment for diverse conditions.
• Develop and implement in‑clinic and community rehabilitation programmes.
• Liaise with allied health team members to ensure coordinated care.
• Create detailed patient reports outlining abilities, goals, and best‑practice interventions.
• Utilise diary management software for scheduling and documentation.

Required profile

• Current NZ Physiotherapy registration and active APC.
• Full NZ driver’s licence for community‑based rehabilitation visits.
• Excellent communication skills for daily interaction with clients and team members.
• Two or more years of experience is advantageous, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Overseas candidates will receive AEWV assistance and relocation support.
