Physiotherapist – Early Career Role in Lower Hutt

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an early‑career Physiotherapist to join its multidisciplinary team in Lower Hutt, Wellington. You will work with both clinic‑based and community clients, supporting their physical and mental health journeys while developing strong foundations in musculoskeletal and community rehabilitation.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, treat and rehabilitate clients using evidence‑based physiotherapy techniques.
• Provide services to both clinic‑based and community clients, meeting ACC and contractual timeframes.
• Document sessions using “Heidi”, the AI note‑taking assistant, to reduce admin workload.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists and other health professionals to deliver holistic care.
• Participate in case discussions, team learning sessions and track clinical outcomes.

Required profile

• NZ‑recognised physiotherapy qualification with 1‑2 years post‑graduation experience.
• Current registration (or eligibility) with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and strong communication skills.
• Ability to work independently while seeking support when needed.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.

• Understanding of ACC processes and contractual timelines.
