Physiotherapist – Early Career Opportunity

About the role

Habit Health is seeking an early‑career Physiotherapist to join its multidisciplinary team in New Plymouth. You will work with both clinic‑based and community clients, delivering evidence‑based musculoskeletal and rehabilitation care while receiving mentorship from experienced clinicians.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, treat and rehabilitate clients using evidence‑based physiotherapy techniques.
• Manage a personal caseload of clinic and community patients, including ACC‑funded cases.
• Document sessions efficiently with the AI note‑taking assistant “Heidi”.
• Collaborate with occupational therapists, psychologists and other health professionals to provide holistic care.
• Participate in case discussions, team learning sessions and outcome tracking.

Required profile

• NZ‑recognised physiotherapy qualification with 1‑2 years post‑graduation experience.
• Current registration (or eligibility) with the Physiotherapy Board of New Zealand.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn and strong client‑centred communication.
• Ability to work independently while seeking support when needed.
• Full NZ driver’s licence.
