Phone Sales Consultant – Auckland

About the role

We are looking for a Phone Sales Consultant to join our high‑performing Phone Sales team in Auckland. In this customer‑focused role you will guide prospective members through our health insurance products, explain benefits and help them make informed decisions.

Key responsibilities

• Handle inbound and scheduled outbound calls, managing a pipeline of leads.
• Provide clear, value‑add advice about Southern Cross health insurance products and member benefits.
• Maintain high standards for productivity, quality and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and share best practices.

Required profile

• Proven experience in a customer‑centric or consultative sales role, preferably in insurance or financial services.
• Strong communication skills with a clear telephone voice and excellent written English.
• Excellent time‑management and self‑organisation abilities.
• Team‑player attitude with a collaborative approach to building relationships.
