Pharmacy Intern – 2027 Cohort

About the role
Join Woolworths Pharmacy’s 2027 internship programme and gain hands‑on experience across a network of over 45 community pharmacies in New Zealand. You will work alongside qualified pharmacists, supporting prescription dispensing, medication counselling and health advice for diverse patients.
Key responsibilities
- Accurately dispense prescriptions under supervision.
- Provide medication counselling and health advice to customers.
- Participate in role‑plays, training conferences and continuous professional development activities.
- Assist with pharmacy operations across multiple locations (Auckland, Tauranga, Hastings, Wellington, Christchurch, Dunedin).
Required profile
- On track to complete a Bachelor of Pharmacy (NZ or Australian university) by end‑2026, or hold an overseas pharmacy qualification with KAPS and legislation course completed.
- Eligible to work in New Zealand.
- Retail pharmacy experience is advantageous.
- Strong communication, attention to detail and flexible to relocate after the internship.
