About the role

The Personal Business Manager is responsible for delivering an exceptional branch experience by understanding the financial needs of business and personal customers and providing tailored solutions across ANZ’s business banking, home loans, insurance and investment products.

Key responsibilities

  • Engage customers in quality conversations to identify and meet their financial needs.
  • Maintain in‑depth knowledge of bank processes, products and services to advise confidently.
  • Provide market‑leading service while adhering to responsible lending and risk standards.
  • Collaborate with branch colleagues and other business units to refer queries appropriately.
  • Apply “know your customer” principles from a risk perspective.
  • Demonstrate ANZ values in all customer and colleague interactions.

Required profile

  • Proven lending capabilities in business and home lending.
  • Excellent relationship‑building and networking abilities.
  • Strong customer focus with a positive, growth‑mindset attitude.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
