PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) Consultant

About the role
Tech Mahindra is looking for an experienced PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA) to design and deliver enterprise‑grade PEGA solutions in Auckland. The role combines hands‑on development with architectural leadership, translating complex business requirements into scalable, secure, high‑performance applications.
Key responsibilities
- Lead requirements workshops and collaborate with business and technical stakeholders.
- Design end‑to‑end PEGA architecture aligned with enterprise standards.
- Provide technical leadership across multiple PEGA projects and teams.
- Develop reusable PEGA components and ensure adherence to PEGA Guardrails and coding standards.
- Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and performance tuning.
- Integrate PEGA applications with external systems using REST, SOAP, APIs, and messaging frameworks.
- Identify risks, propose mitigation strategies, and ensure timely delivery.
- Mentor PEGA developers and System Architects.
- Work with DevOps teams on CI/CD implementation and deployment strategies.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, IT or related field.
- 8+ years of overall IT experience, including 5+ years with PEGA.
- Strong architectural expertise and solution design experience.
- Proven ability to lead teams and manage stakeholder expectations.
Required skills
- Certified PEGA Lead System Architect (LSA).
- Hands‑on experience with PEGA PRPC / PEGA Platform.
- Expertise in case management, workflows, decisioning and integrations.
- Deep understanding of PEGA architecture, rules engine and frameworks.
- Experience with REST, SOAP services, APIs and system integrations.
- Strong knowledge of database concepts and SQL.
- Performance tuning and debugging of PEGA applications.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Experience with PEGA Customer Service, Sales Automation or Marketing.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Exposure to DevOps tools such as Jenkins and Git.
- Understanding of microservices architecture.
