Paste Crew – Underground Paste Reticulation

About the role

The Paste Crew is responsible for the safe and efficient installation, operation, monitoring and maintenance of the underground paste reticulation system. This role supports production activities by ensuring paste fill is delivered in line with the mine plan and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Install, extend, inspect and maintain underground paste reticulation pipelines and associated infrastructure.
• Assist with preparation and set‑up of stopes prior to paste‑filling activities.
• Monitor paste delivery systems, report operational issues and conduct routine inspections of lines, valves, barricades and fill infrastructure.
• Support pressure testing, commissioning and general underground services as directed.
• Safely operate light vehicles, elevated work platforms and other ancillary equipment.

Required profile

• Previous underground mining experience, preferably within a paste‑fill or service crew.
• Current Manual Driver Licence.
• Strong understanding of underground mining safety systems and procedures.
• Ability to work a 7/7 roster, including days and nights.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently and as part of a team.

Required skills

• Underground paste reticulation pipeline installation and maintenance.
• Pressure testing and commissioning of pipeline systems.
• Operation of light vehicles and elevated work platforms.
