Part‑time Google Ads Manager for Moving Company (Auckland)

About the role

We are looking for a part‑time Google Ads manager to optimise and grow the paid‑search performance of Auckland Movers, a residential and commercial moving company. You will work on a $92‑per‑day budget, aiming to lower the cost per acquisition and increase the conversion rate.

Key responsibilities

• Review search terms daily, add negative keywords and pause non‑converting spend.
• Adjust bids and Smart Bidding settings based on performance data.
• Provide a short weekly email update covering spend, conversions, CPA and changes made.
• Test new ad copy each month, write headlines, run A/B tests and retire under‑performing ads.
• Analyse budget allocation across campaigns and produce a monthly one‑page performance summary.
• Identify opportunities for new campaigns or restructuring and obtain quick sign‑off for budget changes.
• Evaluate other channels such as Facebook Ads and propose cost‑effective tests.

Required profile

• 3+ years managing Google Search campaigns for local or service‑based businesses.
• Proven track record of reducing CPA while maintaining or improving conversion rates.
• Strong discipline with negative keyword management.
• Comfortable using Smart Bidding and deciding when Target CPA is appropriate.
• Ability to write conversion‑focused ad copy.
• Experience with home‑services or trades in NZ/AU and familiarity with GA4 conversion tracking is a plus.
