Part‑time Cleaner – Greymouth Care Home

About the role

Join Granger House Lifecare in Greymouth as a part‑time Cleaner and help maintain a safe, welcoming environment for our residents. You will work across morning, afternoon and weekend shifts, providing essential housekeeping services in a 70‑bed care home and hospital.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning of resident rooms, communal areas, bathrooms and kitchen spaces.
• Ensure all areas meet the organisation’s hygiene and safety standards.
• Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to the supervisory team.
• Assist with occasional deep‑cleaning projects as required.

Required profile

• Positive, can‑do attitude with a genuine love for helping people.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a diverse team.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Reliability and a strong work ethic.

Required skills

• Previous cleaning experience (preferred, training provided).
