Part‑Time Cleaner – Aged Care Facility

About the role

We are looking for a reliable Part‑Time Cleaner to join our team at Waterlea Lifecare in Blenheim. You will help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our 61‑bed aged‑care residents, working 16.5 hours per week on a rolling roster.

Key responsibilities

• Clean resident rooms, bathrooms, and common areas to high hygiene standards.
• Follow daily cleaning schedules and use approved cleaning products and equipment.
• Report any maintenance or safety issues to the supervisory team.
• Maintain stock of cleaning supplies and ensure equipment is stored correctly.
• Support a tidy and comfortable living environment that promotes resident well‑being.

Required profile

• Previous cleaning experience preferred, but full on‑the‑job training will be provided.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong interpersonal skills with empathy and a friendly, positive attitude.
• Good communication, time‑management, and customer‑service skills.
