Part‑Time Bar Team Member – Rooftop Bar

About the role

Join the bar team at one of Auckland’s best‑kept secrets, the Glass Goose. This part‑time, permanent position offers a fast‑paced environment and clear pathways into leadership within the Cook Brothers Hospitality Group.

Key responsibilities

• Greeting and engaging guests to create warm, memorable experiences.
• Preparing and serving cocktails, beers, wines, coffees, mixed drinks and non‑alcoholic beverages.
• Operating the bar during service, including setup, restocking, and pack‑down.
• Following opening and closing procedures with accuracy.
• Promoting products, upselling, and supporting venue sales targets.
• Handling payments and POS transactions.
• Maintaining bar cleanliness, washing glassware, tapping kegs and rotating stock.
• Supporting the duty manager and wider team as required.

Required profile

• Outgoing and energetic individual.
• Willingness to support the duty manager and work collaboratively with the team.

Required skills

• POS system operation.
• Cocktail and beverage preparation.
