Part-Time SEO & AI Search Manager (Auckland)

About the role

We are seeking a senior SEO & AI Search Manager to lead organic growth for service‑based clients in New Zealand. This part‑time position (20 hours/week) offers high ownership, allowing you to shape 12‑month roadmaps and execute 90‑day plans across multiple accounts.

Key responsibilities

• Own SEO and AI‑driven search strategy for a portfolio of clients.
• Develop and manage 12‑month SEO roadmaps and 90‑day delivery plans.
• Lead client relationships as the SEO subject‑matter expert.
• Oversee and execute technical SEO improvements.
• Drive content strategy and AI search optimisation (AIO).
• Analyse performance using GA4, Search Console and other SEO tools.
• Guide and quality‑check work delivered by SEO consultants.

Required profile

• 6+ years of hands‑on SEO experience.
• Strong technical and content SEO capability.
• Proven ability to manage senior client relationships and stakeholders.
• Self‑motivated, able to work independently across multiple accounts.
