Outdoor Living Team Leader

About the role

We are seeking a proactive Team Leader for our Outdoor Living and Housewares area at Mitre 10 MEGA Ruakura. You will drive exceptional customer service, boost sales, and ensure smooth operations of your product portfolio while leading a dedicated store team.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver outstanding customer service and meet sales targets.
• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Outdoor Living portfolio.
• Motivate, coach and develop team members to achieve high performance.
• Maintain health and safety standards across the department.
• Manage inventory, pricing and stock replenishment.

Required profile

• Strong passion for customer service excellence.
• Proven leadership experience in retail or a similar operational environment.
• Excellent organisational and forward‑planning abilities.
• Ability to inspire and motivate a team to achieve service and sales goals.
• Understanding of inventory management and pricing processes.
