Operator – Resource Recovery Park (Rolleston)

About the role

Join Corde’s dedicated team at the Resource Recovery Park in Rolleston. As an Operator you will combine plant operation with general labour to ensure the facility runs safely, efficiently and cleanly.

Key responsibilities

• Operate fixed and mobile plant such as loaders, hook trucks and mobile shredders.
• Perform manual tasks supporting day‑to‑day facility operations.
• Maintain a tidy, organised work environment and follow health & safety procedures.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production targets and deadlines.

Required profile

• Honest, self‑motivated and conscientious.
• Strong understanding of current health and safety practices.
• Excellent communication and a hands‑on approach.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster that includes weekends.
• Team player able to meet deadlines.

Required skills

• WTR endorsement (essential).
• Class 4 Driver Licence (essential).
• Forklift endorsement (desirable).
• OSH Ticket (desirable).
• Loader operation experience (essential).
• Telehandler operation experience (desirable).
