Operations & Office Manager – Roofing & Construction

About the role

We are seeking an Operations & Office Manager to lead the day‑to‑day administration of our roofing and spouting projects. Working closely with the directors, you will ensure projects move smoothly from enquiry to completion while supporting field teams and building client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily office operations and schedule roofing and spouting projects.
• Coordinate crews, suppliers, subcontractors and deliveries.
• Manage client communication throughout each project.
• Monitor project progress, deadlines and profitability.
• Handle job costing, invoicing, purchase orders and other financial administration.
• Support operational planning, workflow improvements and implementation of new systems.
• Collaborate with directors on business operations and future planning.

Required profile

• Experience in roofing, construction, or other trade‑based businesses.
• Strong organisational and time‑management abilities.
• Proven ability to coordinate multiple jobs, crews and schedules.
• Excellent communication and customer‑service skills.
• Self‑motivated problem‑solver with a positive attitude.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Tradify or similar job‑management software.
