Operations Manager – Commercial Flooring Installation

About the role

We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our commercial flooring installation projects across New Zealand. This hands‑on role combines site supervision, team coordination and client liaison to ensure projects are delivered safely, on time and to the highest quality standards.

Key responsibilities

• Book and schedule installers and subcontractors, allocating daily labour resources.
• Coordinate site deliveries, materials and equipment.
• Monitor project progress, productivity and installer performance.
• Liaise with clients, suppliers and site managers to resolve issues and manage programme changes.
• Maintain strong communication between office and site teams and support Health & Safety compliance.

• Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong communicator capable of building relationships with clients and staff.
• Quick problem‑solver who thrives in a fast‑paced construction environment.
