Operations Coordinator

About the role

We are seeking an energetic Operations Coordinator to join our Wellington team and support the delivery of premium transport and tourism services. You will work in a fast‑paced environment, assisting drivers, clients and passengers across school transport, charter, tour and cruise operations.

Key responsibilities

• Provide general operational and administrative support to the wider team.
• Coordinate fleet servicing and maintenance schedules.
• Assist with bookings, prepare service quotes and support recruitment/onboarding.
• Oversee driver compliance, licence requirements and manage investigations, incidents and complaints.
• Mitigate service delays and maintain the staff noticeboard.
• Provide after‑hours support on a rotational roster.

Required profile

• Class 2 or Class 4 driver licence (willingness to obtain P endorsement).
• Previous experience in operations, administration or customer service, preferably in transport or passenger services.
• Strong communication, numerical and organisational skills.
• Ability to work under pressure, multitask and prioritize effectively.
• Positive attitude, team player and relationship‑builder.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
