Online Assistant – Order Picking & Packing

About the role

The Online Assistant supports Woolworths Supermarkets New Zealand’s e‑commerce fulfilment centre by ensuring customer orders are picked, packed and ready for delivery. Working on the warehouse floor, you will collaborate with colleagues across departments to maintain high standards of accuracy, speed and safety while contributing to a service that reaches three million New Zealanders each week.

Key responsibilities

• Pick and pack online orders accurately, efficiently and safely, preparing them for dispatch.
• Communicate with other departments regarding out‑of‑stock items, product substitutions and any customer enquiries that arise.
• Follow and promote health‑and‑safety procedures, ensuring a safe environment for yourself and teammates.
• Maintain tidy workstations and adhere to inventory control processes.

Required profile

• Strong focus on customer service and ability to make customer‑first decisions aligned with company processes.
• Effective communication and teamwork skills, with a willingness to collaborate across functions.
• Ability to stay on your feet for the duration of the shift in a fast‑paced environment.
• Friendly, approachable attitude and a genuine smile.
