Onboarding Specialist – Customer Support

About the role

We are seeking dynamic, customer‑focused individuals to join a new project for a global organisation. As an Onboarding Specialist you will be the face of the service, guiding customers through their first experience on the platform and ensuring world‑class support.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional phone support, responding quickly, accurately and professionally, and escalating issues when needed.
• Manage, update and process customer data across multiple CRM systems to ensure smooth order completion.
• Maintain precise records, use time effectively and follow risk/compliance procedures, especially with high‑risk merchants.
• Collaborate with teammates to guarantee an excellent end‑to‑end customer experience.
• Stay current on policies and standards, apply pricing guidelines and support a positive team environment.

Required profile

• Proven call‑centre or sales experience (e.g., call centre, door‑to‑door, retail).
• Positive “can‑do” attitude and ability to view problems as challenges.
• Adaptable mindset thriving in a fast‑paced, changing environment.
• Comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
• Strong adherence to rules, procedures and compliance.
• Excellent spoken and written communication skills.
• Clear criminal history and successful credit check.
• NZ citizen or permanent resident; willingness to complete pre‑employment testing.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with CRM systems and data‑management tasks.

What we offer

• 3‑month temporary assignment with potential to extend or become permanent.
• Pay rate of $28.95 per hour plus 8% holiday pay.
• Standard office hours: 8:30 AM – 5:00 PM, Monday‑Friday.
• Wellington City‑based role working on new and exciting sales projects.
