About the role
We are a fast‑growing technology‑driven organisation looking for a proactive Office Manager to support our multi‑site operations across New Zealand. This full‑time, hybrid role (32 hours per week) combines remote work with on‑site responsibilities, ensuring smooth administrative processes and effective coordination between teams.
Key responsibilities
- Manage day‑to‑day administrative operations across multiple sites and remote environments.
- Supervise and allocate tasks to administrative and support staff, monitor performance and provide training.
- Coordinate communication between sales, procurement and distribution teams to meet deadlines.
- Plan and monitor resource allocation, including IT equipment, site support and office supplies.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and report on IT equipment stock.
- Handle internal documentation, invoicing, purchase orders and supplier records.
- Liaise with external suppliers, service providers and logistics partners.
- Support directors and senior managers with administrative and operational tasks.
- Conduct onboarding and induction for new staff.
- Prepare regular reports on purchasing, distribution and administrative KPIs.
- Develop and improve office systems, policies and workflows for both virtual and site‑based operations.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and promote a collaborative work culture.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in management or equivalent qualification in business administration/management.
- Proven experience in office management, administration and staff supervision.
- Strong understanding of business coordination in supply‑related or service industries.
- Excellent organisational, leadership and communication abilities.
Required skills
- Advanced Microsoft Office proficiency.
- Data entry expertise.
- Database management skills.
