Occupational Health Nurse

About the role

We are seeking a Registered Nurse to join our Staff Care Reyburn Street clinic in Whangārei, delivering occupational health services to a variety of local businesses. The role is part‑time permanent with flexible hours and includes regular travel across the region.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct occupational health assessments and provide clinical recommendations.
• Perform health monitoring, pre‑employment medicals, vaccinations, biological monitoring and related services.
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and timely reporting.
• Build and maintain relationships with clients, employers and healthcare professionals.
• Manage schedules, equipment and patient management systems.
• Support workplace health, safety and wellbeing initiatives.
• Promote services and identify opportunities for new and existing clients.

Required profile

• Registered Nurse with a current NZ Annual Practising Certificate.
• Strong nursing experience, preferably in primary care, community or workplace health.
• Excellent communication and relationship‑building abilities.
• Strong organisational and time‑management skills.
• Proactive, professional and solution‑focused approach.
• Full New Zealand driver licence.
