Night Shift Machine Operator – FMCG Production

About the role

We are seeking experienced Machine Operators to join our night‑shift production team, working Monday to Friday from 9:45 pm to 6:00 am. This role is focused on operating sophisticated machinery within a fast‑moving consumer goods (FMCG) environment and requires a strong commitment to quality and food‑safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Set‑up, run and monitor complex production equipment during night‑shift hours.
• Ensure all processes comply with Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP) and internal quality protocols.
• Perform routine maintenance and minor troubleshooting to minimise downtime.
• Record production data and report any deviations to the shift supervisor.
• Collaborate with the quality and maintenance teams to uphold safety standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience in FMCG manufacturing environments.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently on night shifts.
• Right to work in New Zealand.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
