National Purchasing Manager

About the role

We are looking for a National Purchasing Manager to lead our purchasing strategy across New Zealand. Based in Manurewa, this newly created senior position will report to senior leadership and work closely with our global brands and long‑standing manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Define and execute a nationwide purchasing strategy aligned with business objectives.
• Drive supplier performance through regular evaluation, negotiation and partnership development.
• Identify and deliver cost‑saving initiatives while maintaining quality standards.
• Optimise inventory levels to support production and logistics efficiency.
• Strengthen supplier relationships to improve overall purchasing performance.

Required profile

• Proven experience in purchasing, procurement or supply chain management, preferably in a manufacturing or logistics environment.
• Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and influence senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical mindset with a focus on cost reduction and performance metrics.
