National Key Account Manager – Scientific & Laboratory Supply

About the role

We are seeking a National Key Account Manager to lead and grow our portfolio of industrial key accounts across New Zealand. Based in Auckland, you will work closely with customers in dairy, food manufacturing, contract testing and environmental testing, acting as the single point of accountability for commercial relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Own and expand a national portfolio of key accounts, driving revenue growth.
• Develop and execute promotions and campaigns with full authority over pricing and commercial decisions.
• Plan and manage travel schedule (4‑6 nights per month) to meet customers on site.
• Maintain accurate forecasting, planning and administrative records one day per week.
• Negotiate contracts and manage risk in contract‑heavy environments.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in sales or key account management, preferably within dairy, food manufacturing, contract testing or environmental testing.
• Strong ownership mentality and proactive communication style.
• Commercially astute with the ability to balance strategic planning and hands‑on execution.
• Highly organised, able to prioritise a broad and varied portfolio.
• Team‑player who shares knowledge and supports colleagues.
