National Account Manager

About the role

We are seeking a dynamic National Account Manager to join our Auckland team and drive growth across the Fan, Specialty, and Grocery channels. You will work with iconic entertainment brands such as Transformers, Star Wars, Marvel, and more, shaping the future of play for consumers.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and execute a customer strategy to meet 3‑year growth targets and annual financial, POS, and share goals.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners through Joint Business Plans.
• Utilise analytics and ROI metrics to optimise trade spend and achieve sales objectives.
• Collaborate with marketing, shopper insights, merchandising, demand planning, and finance to align brand and category strategies.
• Deliver accurate forecasts to support high levels of DIFOT (Delivery In Full On Time).

Required profile

• 3+ years of commercial account management experience in Specialty or Grocery, preferably within Toy & Games, FMCG, or related categories.
• Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to think creatively and accelerate growth opportunities.
• Adaptable and strategic, capable of making future‑focused decisions while executing flawlessly.
• Collaborative approach with a strong interest in building trusted partner relationships.
• Commercially savvy with experience in category management and the full purchase journey.
• Strong analytical abilities and familiarity with data‑processing tools.
• Ambitious, proactive, result‑oriented, and able to work independently.
