Money Coordinator (Part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term)

About the role

CAP is seeking an enthusiastic team player to lead its award‑winning CAP Money programme, teaching budgeting skills and a cash‑based system. This part‑time, 12‑month fixed‑term role is based in Auckland and offers 18.75 hours per week.

Key responsibilities

• Provide oversight of CAP Money, including compiling and processing electronic data and paperwork, setting up new clients and updating the database.
• Help coordinate CAP Money training days.
• Communicate with church partners and CAP Money coaches, ensuring professional and accurate advice.
• Provide support and troubleshooting for any CAP Money issues.
• Support CAP Money campaigns and onboarding of new coaches.
• Promote and provide regular communications to CAP Money partners and supporters.

Required profile

• Passion for helping whānau experiencing money chaos and alignment with CAP’s Christian values.
• Courageous, intentional and willing to challenge the status quo.
• Commitment to personal and professional transformation.
• Knowledge of personal finances and budgeting.
• Customer service experience, preferably in the financial sector.
• Creative thinking on engaging people in financial education.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• High attention to detail with strong prioritisation and time‑management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite.
• Genuine care for people and ability to build positive relationships.
• Comfort working in a not‑for‑profit organisation that honours Te Tiriti o Waitangi.
